Jolie’s Birth Story

FILED IN: Events

I am excited to finally be putting these pictures up! You can read the story of the hospital birth here, if you didn’t catch it when I posted the sneak peak photo. It involves a funny 3AM story! The basics: the Churchill’s are my photographer friends. I got a text one tuesday night, asking me to come to the hospital as Jolie was in labor, and they wanted pictures eventually of the first moment with their baby, etc. I drove the hour-and-a-half trip there, got to almost hear a birth (I was in a curtained-off area ready to jump back in to take the photos), when the baby was breech & Jolie had to be taken to get a C-section. Baby Eva was born around midnight! Around 1:30 AM with no prospects of getting to see Eva, I headed home. She was having respiratory problems as she drank some amniotic fluid at the last moment. So unfortunately then, I did not get any baby pictures..I just had to wait a couple days! (Sneak peak newborn pic of Eva). But here are the pictures that tell the story I was able to experience…

They were waiting till the baby was born to find out if it would be a girl or boy. So family gave them some gifts of clothes for both!

SOOOO cute!

My fave…

Updating everyone on Jolie’s status  ;)

Ruth, Jolie’s sister-in-law.

We got kicked out…and so the next picture is when JP came out to tell us about baby Eva! He looks so proud  :)

Telling his father the good news.

Only he could see Eva…so as a photographer, of course he brought out pictures for us to see her!

The waiting lounge we sat in for a few hours..Cliff & Ruth  :)

Since Eva arrived almost a month early, her grandma was scrambling to get her first baby blanket done that whole night!

Peeking in trying to see Eva…we all did it & could just barely see her!  :)

What a night, I loved it!! So glad I could be there for you guys  :)  The rest of Eva’s pictures will be up sometime soon, as well as the baby shower pics after that.

For now, though…tomorrow I am headed to Orlando!! Really excited to be able to visit one of the PassPremiere tour stops! I’ve heard so many good things, can’t wait to experience it for myself tomorrow night! Eager to learn more about the photography business from David Jay (creater of Showit- the website-designing software I’m using right now to make my website! Update on the website: getting there…), Zack & Jody Gray, and Promise Tangeman. Stoked also to meet up with some other local photographers (like Julie Story) before & after!  Just taking J*’s personal advice too, that’s all..  ;)

PS: If you have a moment tomorrow morning…pray for safe travels please!!  =)
